Printing From Your iPad and iPhone

With Apple’s latest release of its operating system iOS 4.2 for the iPad and iPhone, there is a feature called AirPrint which allows you to print over a Wifi connection with your Apple device. The initial announcement by Apple indicated that the feature would work only with AirPrint compatible printers.

It is possible to install and enable the AirPrint feature on your Windows machine running Windows 7, Windows Vista, or Windows XP, and then print to almost any printer on your local machine that is shared. For most of you the installation is a bit technical and requires administrative access to the machine. We will be posting a guide on our web site to walk you through this process.

If you do not feel comfortable attempting this on your own we can set up this process for you. We can accomplish this remotely and the installation should take approximately thirty minutes.
