We embrace open source software as another tool available when developing solutions for our clients. When setting up server based networks for ourselves and clients, we have utilized open source operating systems and data base products when it was determined to be the best choice.  We develop unique solutions that are typically not offered elsewhere in the marketplace. 

1. Samba for File Storage and Domain Controllers – We have client offices utilizing Linux servers with Samba as the primary domain controllers for their Windows networks, as well as implementations integrating the Samba server into an existing Windows Active Directory to provide additional network storage.
2. Asterisk Telephony Servers – We have deployed several implementations of ACD/Voice Mail/PBX systems for clients as well as our internal phone system. These solutions utilize SIP and IAX, as well as span across VPNs in different parts of the country to provide VoIP connectivity to remote employees and interconnect remote offices.
3. System Monitoring using Nagios and Cacti – Some client networks are being monitored to provide us with outage alerts and usage statistics from Nagios and Cacti deployments.
4. OpenFiler SANs for Use with VMWare – We have deployed SANs built on OpenFiler as iSCSI attached storage for use with Virtual Machines for VMWare, as well as configured as NFS and SMB network storage. In addition, we have designed and deployed SANs as high availability clusters with HA and DRBD.
5. LAMP Servers – We maintain web servers located at our data center for hosting client web sites. These servers are built on Linux and are complete with Apache, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Tomcat, Java, PHP, Perl, and Python, as well as other open source tools needed to support the sites and applications needed.
6. E-Mail Servers – We operate several IMAP/POP/SMTP servers at the data center, as well as at client offices. These servers are built on Linux and run many open source mail software such as Courier, Cyrus, Dovecot, Postfix, SendMail, RoundCube, and SquirrelMail, just to name a few.
7. Collaborative Environment for National Lobbying Effort – We designed, deployed, host, and support a collaborative environment built on top of Linux and open source software such as Apache and Tomcat. The system was created to support a national lobbying effort by an industry consortium consisting of major manufacturers of metal containers.
